Hello and welcome! My name is Catelyn Picco! I am a 21 year old singer/songwriter from Waukesha, WI. I have been singing for as long as I can remember, but the first performance I remember that involved a live audience was back in 2006. I was in first grade and decided to perform in the school talent show singing "Castle on a Cloud" from Les Miserables. From that moment on, I knew that I was going to find my way to do what I love most, performing.
Throughout my life, I have been a part of musicals and kept performing a priority. In middle school and high school I was involved in Drama Club and Choir. I started taking guitar lessons when I was 12 years old and would never put the guitar down. Then, my first gig opportunity happened when I was 15 years old. I walked into the doors of Sprizzo Gallery and Caffe which was where I performed my first open mic and have not stopped performing since. Little did I know this moment would lead me to later on perform at Summerfest, The Wisconsin State Fair, The Waukesha County Fair, The Waukesha Farmers' Market, The Taste of Wisconsin, and so much more.
Currently, I am a student at Wisconsin Lutheran College pursuing my Bachelor's in Communication with a Minor in Music. While studying here, I am a member of The Wisconsin Lutheran Choir, The Arts and Entertainment Editor for The SWORD- Student Newspaper, and a member of the Social Media Ambassador Club. I am truly thankful that God has lead me on a path to study what I love and find a way to keep performing for all of you in my life.
If you are looking to ways to listen to my music, I released an EP titled "Strong and Courageous" in July of 2019 which contains five of my own original songs with a full band. This is available for streaming on Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube, and more! I am excited to be back performing shows live and in person to provide a positive environment during these times. My goal is to stay strong and courageous during these times so we can get through this together. Social media sites you can find me on are: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, and Snapchat.
Finally, I want to say thank you. I would not be where I am today without all of your love and support. Words cannot describe my gratitude for each and every one of you listening to my music and staying involved with the local music scene. During these times, I believe we need to support one another and find a way to keep living our dreams.
Stay Strong and Courageous!
