Hey y’all! I’m consistently asked questions about social media. Some examples are: how do I come up with content? How do you keep up with posting consistently? So… Here are three tips to help you up your social media game.
1. Schedule your content
When I am working on social media content, I schedule it week by week. I pre schedule posts into Facebook Business Suite. Scheduling posts ahead makes it easier to engage with other accounts, making stories and more! You can schedule ahead as far as you would like, it is easier for me to do it by week with all my shows happening on the weekend and all the content I gather over the weekend.
2 Create Variety with Different Apps
Some of my favorite apps to use are: Adobe Lightroom for photo editing, Panorama Crop for Instagram posts (mainly show banners), Grid Maker for Instagram when I am dropping a show schedule or big announcement and Canva. It is important to have a similar color scheme but a different variety of posts on your feed. Your followers are listening to your story because they are interested in your life so get creative and show off a little!
3. Pay Attention to Calendars
Whether it is your own calendar or national holidays, it is important to be on top of what is going on with your audience. It is important to pay attention to what is going on in your own life so audience members can follow your story. It is important to pay attention to what is going on in the world so you can connect with your own audience. Again, variety is key. If you post the same content, audience members will get bored. Social Media is an outlet to be creative!
